So today they actually ventured around the main level of the house. They had free choice to the other day but weren't brave enough I guess. Well today I headed down the stairs after saying good morning to them and Stabler followed me down, after awhile Munch and Fynn followed, Boone was outside the screen door was closed and he cried up a storm wanting to be inside with them. For the most part they ignored him but did have a few visits between the screen. They went bonkers with all the open space downstairs. Lots of places to squeeze into and pounce on an unsuspecting brother too!
I went about doing laundry and Stabler of course followed me, he's decided he wants to be my shadow. Going down the basement stairs was easy as pie, and the basement gave even more fun then the main floor did! So many boxes and "toys"! I finished up and started back up the stairs, poor guy couldn't get up them. I figured he wouldn't, most of the young foster kittens can't handle the stairs because they are wooden and have open backs, so he was carried up in the laundry basket and dropped off on the couch as I continued to the second floor.
Done upstairs I went to see what they were up to. Found Munch and Stabler having a ball, tackling each other from the shelves on the TV stand but no Fynn. I looked around where kittens usually hide, even checked the basement thinking he was stuck down there. Nowhere, wasn't upstairs either. Getting a little frantic I took a quick glance around the living room before heading back down to the basement to look again and noticed a little black and white ball of fur in Boone's food dish. All curled up, leaving anyone unable to tell what end was what until he popped his head up at the sound of the camera.
Little turd scared me have to death! But how can anyone be mad at a face like that? After all that excitement they've all climbed back upstairs and curled up in their favorite spots for a nap.
