Day 5 with the foster kittens

The kittens were wide awake and bouncing around as usual when I got up this morning to let them out of their room. Gosh I wish I could be like that in the mornings every morning! I then run downstairs to let Boone out before he decides the rug at the backdoor is as good a place as any to do his business on. I turn around and they are already downstairs playing in the sunlight coming in through the door. It’s so adorable when they play even more so when one actually gets upset because the play got too rough or because he’s being ganged up on. So I go about to the kitchen get me a bowl of cereal and come back to the living room to watch a little TV. Little did I know that Munch was a cereal muncher. I hadn’t sat down for 5 seconds and he was there sitting below the bowl screaming at the top of his lungs everytime I put the spoon in my mouth. I guess he finally had enough of me ignoring him and jumped on the couch and then to the table stuck his face in my bowl and started lapping away at the milk. Theif! I remove him to the floor. He comes back the same way several more times until he finally decides he can just jump from the floor to the table. At this point I’m ready to give up and just share. I hadn’t noticed that Fynn was watching his big brother and soon he was up on the table too sticking his face in the bowl! It was then I thought no more kiddos! This is my breakfast yours is upstairs as is your water, now be gone! I hurriedly finished off my cereal and let them lick the remains of the empty bowl.

Once they finally came to terms that there would be no more cereal and milk they went off to play again. I grabbed my camera snapped a few shots and noticed Fynn was gone from the group. My first look saw him yet again in Boone’s food bowl, only this time he wasn’t sleeping in it… he was using it has a litter box! No man! What is wrong with you! Of course I took a picture and by then he had covered his deposit with the dog kibble and moved on to play. Silly kitorb. So the food was tossed and the bowl was cleaned.

For lunch I grabbed another bowl of cereal and yet again within seconds of sitting at the computer Munch was on my lap screaming at me and sticking his face in the bowl. There is no winning. I finally had enough and wanted to eat my cereal in peace so I handed him over to Blake. Didn’t last long of course but I managed a few bites. Boone was my only other option and did the trick to distract him so I could finish. Once again he got the empty bowl to pout over and lick. By this point Blake had his own cereal and Munch was off like a bullet to find him and scream at him to hand it over or he’d die a cute cuddly death by kitten breath!

They are all crashed out now after a game of “catch the fingers on the keyboard” and "lets help type and chew the keys off". Thank goodness. I’m like a mother now after she gets her fussy baby to finally sleep, I keep telling Boone and Blake to be quiet and give “the look” when they make a noise.

And I do believe Stabler is trying to imitate this LOLcat...
